Investor Materials

The materials that raise
the round, built from the model

Deck, plan and teaser drawn straight from the model, so the story and the numbers cannot contradict each other.

Fixed fee agreed upfront | 14 business days | 2 revision rounds

Selected clients across the US, GCC and Europe

The materials

3 deliverables, 3 different readers

Each one exists to get past a specific person. The teaser earns the meeting, the deck carries the room, and the plan answers what the room could not.

Pitch Deck

  • The story lands in the first 3 slides
  • Every figure traced back to the model
  • Market, traction, unit economics, use of funds
  • Charts wired to model outputs, not screenshots
  • An appendix for the questions the deck invites
  • Read by: partners, in 10 minutes, on a phone

Business Plan

  • Written in full, with sourced market research
  • Operating plan tied to the same drivers as the model
  • Competitive position stated, not asserted
  • Risk section that names real risks
  • Formatted for lenders, grant bodies and boards
  • Read by: analysts and credit committees, slowly

Investment Teaser

  • One page, sent cold, designed to get a reply
  • The opportunity, the ask and the traction only
  • No confidential detail, so it can travel freely
  • Matches the deck it leads to
  • Read by: an inbox, in 30 seconds
Process

14 business days, 4 stages

The clock starts on the deposit and the questionnaire, not on the calendar.

4 steps
  1. Days 1 to 2
    01

    Brief

One working call and a questionnaire. We take the raise, the audience, the traction and whatever numbers exist today.

    An agreed angle
  2. Days 3 to 8
    02
    Model

    Build

Model first, then the narrative on top of it, so no figure in the deck has a different source to the plan.

    A first full draft
  3. Days 9 to 11
    03
    Draft

    Review

We walk it slide by slide, argue the weak claims, and take the first of your 2 revision rounds.

    A defended draft
  4. Days 12 to 14
    04
    Release

    Handover

Second revision, editable source files, and a run-through so whoever presents it can answer for every number.

    The files, yours

Off the printer

The deck is checked against the model, page by page

Every figure on every slide is traced back to the cell it came from before the document goes near an investor.

The same materials, aimed at two very different readers.

Scope

Exactly what you get, and what we will not do

Stated plainly on both sides, because the boundary matters more than the brochure.

Included in every engagement
Editable source filesThe deck, the document and the model, unlocked and yours, not a flattened PDF.
2 revision roundsInside the 14 days, with further changes quoted before anyone touches the file.
Numbers from one sourceEvery figure in every document reads from the same model, so nothing can disagree.
A run-through before you presentSo whoever is in the room can answer for the assumptions, not just read the slide.
What we will not do
Introduce you to investorsWe are not a broker-dealer and we do not place capital or take success fees.
Write securities languageMaterials are commercial documents. Offering language belongs with your counsel.
Guarantee a raiseWe can make the documents defensible. The market decides the rest.
Invent tractionIf a number is not supportable it does not go in, however good it would look.

Need the model kept true after the raise? FP&A and reporting run on a monthly cadence.

Need someone senior in the room through diligence? Fractional CFO retainers run monthly, in 3 tiers.

Our guarantee

What we guarantee, and what we cannot

We are answerable for the quality of the documents and their consistency with the model underneath.

We are answerable for
Internal consistencyThe deck, the plan and the teaser all quote the same model. No figure contradicts another.
Diligence readinessEvery number in the deck can be traced to a schedule in the model, on the day an investor asks.
The delivery dateA fixed date agreed before we start, met or renegotiated in advance rather than after.
The revisionsIterations within the agreed scope are included until you are ready to send it.
We are not
Whether you raiseMaterials remove the reasons to pass. They do not manufacture conviction.
Investor appetiteA cold market is a cold market. Better documents shorten the process; they do not create demand.
Your delivery in the roomWe can make the argument airtight. You still have to make it out loud.
The valuation the market awardsWe can show what the business supports. The market sets the price.
Pricing

Commissioned together, priced together

Questions

Asked before every engagement

Which materials do we actually need?

For equity, usually a model, a deck and a teaser. For lenders and grant bodies, a written plan does work a deck cannot.

Do we need the model if we already have one?

If it is driver-based and ties, we will build on it. If the deck's numbers cannot be traced back to it, rebuilding is faster than reconciling.

Do you design, or just write?

Both. The deck is designed as well as written, in your brand if you have one and in a restrained house style if you do not.

What file formats do we get?

Editable source files: the deck in your presentation software, the plan as a document, the model as a spreadsheet. Plus PDFs for sending.

Can you sign an NDA?

Yes, before anything is shared. We also sign your standard mutual NDA on request rather than insisting on ours.

What if the raise changes shape?

Within the 2 revision rounds we adjust. If the round becomes a different round, we requote rather than quietly stretching the scope.

How much of our time will this take?

2 calls and a review round, about 4 hours. The story is yours; the assembly is ours.

What do we keep at the end?

The editable deck, the plan, the teaser and the model behind them. Nothing is held back as leverage for the next engagement.

Will this get us funded?

No document raises money on its own. We are not in the room, and materials cannot fix a business investors do not want. They can stop a good business losing on presentation.
