Partner-led on
every engagement

A partner scopes your work, reviews every file before it leaves, and answers for what reaches your board.

Partner review on every file that reaches you

The partners

One on the numbers, one on the narrative

The split is deliberate. A model that survives diligence and a story that earns the meeting are different disciplines. One partner leads and reviews every engagement.

Omar Arif

Omar Arif

Partner

Omar sits between a bookkeeper and a full-time CFO: runway visibility, board reporting, and the monthly cadence that keeps a model true after the raise. Managing Director of a chartered accountancy practice; formerly advisory and audit at a UHY International member firm.

Owns
  • Fractional CFO and controller engagements
  • Monthly close and bookkeeping oversight
  • Board and lender reporting packs
  • 13-week rolling cashflow and runway visibility
  • Remote bookkeeping delivery

I review every retainer file myself before it reaches your board, because the person answering for a number should be the person who checked it.

Saad Khalid

Saad Khalid

Partner

Most models die in the first 10 minutes of diligence — built to be read, not questioned. Saad rebuilds them bottom-up: headcount tied to growth, runway that holds when pulled on. He audited IFRS statements at a UHY International member firm.

Owns
  • Financial models built bottom-up, not from a market-size number
  • Pitch decks, business plans and investment teasers
  • Investor narrative, positioning and data room preparation
  • Scenario, sensitivity and runway analysis
  • Writes Fundraising Lens on what real models get wrong

I review every model that leaves this firm, because a figure I have not checked is a figure I cannot defend in your diligence call.

How we staff

Partner-led, team-delivered

What that means in practice, and where the limits are. Both are worth knowing before you engage us rather than after.

What you get
A partner on your engagementA partner scopes the work, reviews every file, and stays accountable for what reaches your board.
Partner review before anything shipsNothing reaches you or your board until a partner has read it line by line.
Continuity through the raiseThe same partner from the first model to the board meeting after the round closes.
A team behind themAnalysts and bookkeepers carry the volume, so partner time goes to judgement rather than data entry.
What it costs you
Start dates are realCapacity is planned rather than infinite, so occasionally a start date is 2 weeks out.
We are not a large consultancyIf you need a big team on site full time, we will say so and point you elsewhere.
We do not audit or file taxBoth need licensed specialists. We prepare the file they ask for and work alongside them.
We say no more oftenIf an engagement does not need to exist, we would rather lose it than staff it.

Questions

Asked about how we work

Who actually does my work?

A partner leads it and is accountable for it, supported by our analysts and bookkeepers. You know which partner before you sign, and it does not change.

Do both partners get involved?

On most raise engagements, yes, because the model and the deck have to agree. That is the normal case rather than an upgrade.

How quickly do you reply?

Same working day for anything on an active engagement. There is no ticket queue and no account manager between you and a partner.

Are you available in our timezone?

We work with clients across the US, the GCC and Europe and schedule calls in your working hours, not ours.

Can you scale if we grow?

Yes, by adding capacity under the same partner. If you actually need a full-time in-house hire, we will say so and help you brief the role.

What happens if you get busy?

We give you a real start date rather than accepting the work and starting late. Occasionally that means waiting 2 weeks for a partner to free up.
