Capacity

The ledger work that eats your firm's hours

Bookkeeping is the work that fills your team's week, spikes at the worst time of year, and rarely carries the margin it should.

Monthly bookkeeping

  • Categorisation against a chart of accounts built for reporting
  • Bank, card and processor accounts reconciled in full
  • Accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue posted properly
  • AP and AR entered, aged and reported
  • 3 statements issued to you on a fixed date
  • Worked inside your client's existing ledger

Catch-up & cleanup

  • Files months or years behind, brought current
  • Chart of accounts rebuilt when it was never designed
  • Historic misposting found, corrected and documented
  • Opening balances agreed and evidenced
  • The work nobody in the office volunteers for

Close & year-end overflow

  • Busy-season capacity without permanent headcount
  • Year-end close with a clean trial balance
  • Support schedules maintained and evidenced
  • The file your audit or tax team actually asks for
  • Scaled up and down as the season moves
How it runs

You brief it, we build it, you deliver it

The client sees one firm throughout, and it is yours.

How it runs
  1. Step one
    01

    Brief

You send the fact pattern and the deadline. No client introduction needed, and no access we do not require.

    You keep: the relationship
  2. Step 2
    02

    Build

We work to your standard and, where you have one, inside your own template and file conventions.

    You keep: the standard
  3. Step 3
    03

    Your review

The file comes to you first, unbranded or in your brand, with the assumptions written out for your sign-off.

    You keep: the sign-off
  4. Step 4
    04

    Your delivery

You present it. We stay behind the curtain, or join the call introduced as your team, entirely your call.

    You keep: the credit

What you keep, and what we will never do

The only real question a firm has is whether the subcontractor becomes a competitor. Here is the answer in writing, and it goes into the agreement.

You keep
The client relationshipThey are your client before, during and after. We have no claim to them and want none.
Your brand on the workFiles are delivered unbranded or in your template, ready to go out under your name.
Pricing and margin controlYou pay wholesale and set retail. What you charge is your business, not ours.
The final sign-offNothing reaches your client until you have reviewed and approved it.
We will never
Contact your client directlyNot for scope, not for questions, not after the engagement ends. Everything routes through you.
Market to your client listNo outreach, no newsletters, no adding them to anything.
Name them as our clientThey are your engagement. They never appear in our case studies or references.
Take the client if this endsStop sending work tomorrow and your clients remain yours. We do not pick them up, ever.
Case studies

2 firms, 2 reasons

A CPA firm that needed books and models for its own clients, without hiring for either.

A bound client report with a blank cover, unbranded
Your name on it

The file leaves looking like your firm made it

Your templates, your conventions, your logo. Nothing in the deliverable mentions us.

Commercials

Wholesale rates, quoted per firm

Partner rates sit below our published retail pricing, and the discount depends on the mix and the volume rather than on a single number.

How you engage us
Per file, fixed feeCatch-up and cleanup engagements, quoted per file once we have seen it
Per hour, by blockBookkeeper capacity in monthly blocks for overflow and busy season
Per month, per clientOngoing monthly bookkeeping carried per client on your books
What that means for you
You set retailYour margin is the gap, and you control both sides of it
No volume minimumSend one file or 50. The rate reflects the mix, not a quota
Invoiced to the firmOne invoice to you, never to your client
Request the rate card

Our retail prices are published in full, so you can see exactly what your wholesale rate sits below before you ask for it.

See the retail price list

Rates sit below our retail pricing and vary by mix. Ask on the first call and the card follows in writing, under NDA if you prefer.

Questions

Asked by every firm

Will you approach our clients?

No, and it is written into the agreement. We take no direct contact, do no marketing to them, and never name them. The relationship is yours permanently.

Whose brand goes on the work?

Yours. Files arrive unbranded or in your template, and you issue them. If you would rather we appear as a named subcontractor, that is also fine.

Can you join client calls?

Only if you ask. When we do, we are introduced as part of your team and we take no contact details away from the call.

What if the work is not right?

It comes to you before the client, so a problem is caught internally. Revisions to meet your standard are included, not billed as a change.

Is there a volume commitment?

None. Most firms start with one pilot file to see the standard, then send work as it arrives. The rate reflects mix rather than a quota.

Do you compete with us?

We do sell bookkeeping directly, and we are open about it. What we will not do is approach anyone you introduce — the agreement bars it, during and after.
